About a year ago I called in a Yoga instructor to help teach me Yoga at home. This routine is for IBS, improved Digestion, Anxiety, Stress, and overall health. I kept at it but not consistently and just recently when nothing seemed to work anymore I got back to doing yoga. Its been a couple of weeks now as I am putting this video out a little late but my Yoga is giving me quite a bit of relief hence this Video.
Below are the Asanas and Pranayams from the video and their benefits:



Strengthens legs hips, ankles, and chest.

2.Surya Namaskar/Sun Salutation

Help lose weight

Brings down blood sugar levels
Keeps anxiety at bay
Helps detox

3.Jathara Parivartanasana

Excellent for flexibility of the spine.
It tones the organs in the abdomen.
It improves the digestive function.
It makes the hips and the lower back flexible.
It also stretches the muscles of the shoulders and the upper back.
This can be used as a relaxation pose for those who feel tired often during the day.


Strengthens the back and abdominal muscles
Tones the leg and arm muscles
Massages the intestines and other organs in the abdomen
Helps in digestion, constipation, and release of gas
Enhances blood circulation in the hip joints and eases tension in the lower back

6.Makarasana/Crocodile Pose

It can benefit all parts of the body as it stretches your body almost from head to toe.
Therapeutic Applications :
The pose has therapeutic applications like using the pose to get rid of fatigue, constipation,
flatulence, indigestion and back pain.
If you have any chronic injuries, you must do this pose with supervision or in a limited capacity.
The crocodile pose is also good for controlling blood pressure or hypertension.

Good for increasing the flexibility and function of vertebrae of the spine.
Stretches back muscle and spine.
Cures constipation and indigestion.
Helps to increases oxygen supply to the lungs.
